I applied for an intern opportunity posted on the intranet of my university and sent my CV directly to the manager. Just one round interview in Paris. A Normalien en Mathématiques was the manager however, he was very kind and the questions were based on what you have written on your CV. After this interview, I got the offer a week later for the internship.

2 phone screens with junior level analysts, 1 phone interview with a director, and a super day with three 30 minute interviews in New York. For the most part, interview questions were mostly personality questions and typical interview questions. Both of the junior level analysts asked a few technical questions about the financial statements.

2 Interviews with HR including a quick finance test in the first interview. The second interview was behavioral and asked about my ability to work in teams. The first inteviews went well and I was invited for a final interview with M&A team. The last interview was more technical and asked details about my experience.
