      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Bank of America (Clinton, MD) in May 2011

      Interview

I applied online... got an email to schedule a phone interview.. on the phone interview they asked me to name a good customer service experience, and a bad one & how did I handle it. They asked why iw as good for the position etc etc (the usual) I HAD NEVER BEEN A TELLER BEFORE so i just used other examples at my previous job.. She then invited me to a GROUP interview with 6ppl... NONE of us had banking experience (they break you into groups of your age and experience) ...In the interview we were asked to SELL SOMETHING.. Anything. I chose the perfume in my purse.. I "sold it" to them by spraying it.. saying the smell was beautiful.. its perfect for any season.. and it was designer ETC ETC.. they picked 3 out of 6.. I was one of them! They bring you into a private room and tell you whether you go on to the next step or not.. the FINAL step is at your ACTUAL branch .. (which you will pick AT the previous interview) and you will interview w/ that manager privately.. they just go over salary and benefits w/ you and ask you why are you good for the job and ask you about your previous jobs/school and go over what your schedule would be ... they told me RIGHT THEN AND THERE that I was hired.. and that I start NEXT WEEK

      Interview

The interview was very straightforward and simple, they didn’t ask too many unusual questions and the questions they did ask were easy to answer. The total time was less than an hour, and I was able to make another appointment by the end of the workday.
