The interview process for the Bank of America Equity Research Intern position was thorough. It began with an initial online application, followed by a virtual interview focused on behavioural questions and valuation concepts. The interviewer asked about recent stock movements, investment theses, and how macroeconomic trends impact equity markets. They also assessed communication skills and analytical thinking through scenario-based questions. Overall, the process provided a strong sense of the firm’s research culture and emphasis on critical thinking.
The process first started with a hire vue online. If you were accepted, you had a super-day filled with five interviews with people of all levels of expertise. I had a VP, Director, and associate.
