I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bank of America (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2008
Interview
Started with a phone interview asking general questions about my willingness to travel and experience in teaching. The actual interview was set up like a classroom and you have to teach a class on current bank policies and initiatives. It was a group of 4 women and they all were portraying different kinds of students you would have. There was a quiet one, a loud one, a "know-it-all", and a rude disruptive one. I even had to role play with some of the "students" as they asked me difficult questions that I would encounter in a training classroom. 2 of the women were nice, 2 were very serious and I felt as if they were critiquing my every move.
They were looking for my:
1. Knowledge of the bank and the business.
2. Your outgoingness and attention to detail.
3. The way I responded to inquiries and how I handled somewhat difficult and uncomfortable situations.
