I was recommended to Senior Management by a personal friend who was a peer to the Senior Management because I had a background similar to other individuals who have worked with the company and been seen as good performers. I got contact information for the Senior Manager and my eventual direct manager and pursued them via phone for an opportunity to come meet face to face. The interview was casual, just a few questions about my military experience, ability and willingness to handle changing environments, and my long term goals with the company. I meet with 3 people total over the interview process. The most difficult part of the hiring process was the interaction with the hiring personnel who took several weeks to get an offer package together and was hard to contact.
