I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bank of America (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2010
Interview
I applied online at the careers section of the website. I was contacted for a short phone interview with a recruiter who then invited me for a group interview. There were about 14 people total. The recruiter at the interview asked everyone to mention each prior job they've held and some of the responsibilities they had there. Then she asked us all to talk about a time that we went above and beyond while providing great service: what we did, what the outcome was, etc. I was called back the next day and given the chance to have a 1:1 interview with the branch manager. He asked me to share my background information, he also asked me why I wanted to work at B of A. All in all, it was pretty basic.

I applied online. I interviewed at Bank of America (Wheaton, MD)
Interview
The first conversation was over the phone with the recruiter. Then they connected me with a branch manager for an in person interview. I had a third interview at another location an then got the job offer.
It was short. I did a phone interview and the. I did an in-person interview. It was short. Phone then in person. It was short. First phone, then in person.
The interview was very straightforward and simple, they didn’t ask too many unusual questions and the questions they did ask were easy to answer. The total time was less than an hour, and I was able to make another appointment by the end of the workday.
