I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Bank of America (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2018
Interview
I had two interviewers during the panel interviewing me at the same time. During the interview, one of the guys was checking his phone and they started having a side conversation. This was all done when I was answering one of the questions by the way. This lasted for a good one minute of them talking amongst themselves. The entire interview felt extremely unprofessional. If it's common sense to keep your phone silent as a candidate during the interview, then I don't see why they don't keep the same standard for interviewers at Bank of America. Needless to say, it was one of the more negative interviews I've had.
I applied online. I interviewed at Bank of America (Charlotte, NC)
Interview
It was 2 30 mins interviews. Fairly simple process, but I did not have a enough chance to prepare or review my notes, so I did not do well. However, if you know basic stats and probability theory, you will be fine.
The interviewer asked me questions on resume, on my paper and ask me some questions regarding timeseries and structure model. The experience is very easy and I feel it is great
