I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bank of America in Sep 2008
Interview
I applied online and received a phone interview about 1 week later. This was a general introductory interview - why do you think you'd be a good fit, explain your skills, etc. I noted on my resume that I was conversational in Spanish so several days later I received another phone call for a second interview - this one in Spanish. So heads up to everyone, if you claim to speak a language they may actually verify it beforehand. Afterwards, I went to the branch and interviewed with both of the managers, who made the decision the next day and informed me.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
In the interview conducted in Spanish, they ask several questions about banking and different banking terms. I took several years of Spanish CLASSES but am not a native speaker so that was a bit difficult for me considering banking isn't something learned everyday in class.
I applied online. I interviewed at Bank of America (Wheaton, MD)
Interview
The first conversation was over the phone with the recruiter. Then they connected me with a branch manager for an in person interview. I had a third interview at another location an then got the job offer.
It was short. I did a phone interview and the. I did an in-person interview. It was short. Phone then in person. It was short. First phone, then in person.
The interview was very straightforward and simple, they didn’t ask too many unusual questions and the questions they did ask were easy to answer. The total time was less than an hour, and I was able to make another appointment by the end of the workday.
