I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Bank of America (New York, NY) in Mar 2025
Interview
Generally down to earth and supportive environment. Need to demonstrate client facing interest. Credit experience essential - no amount of credit training can compensate for the lack of experience. Given it’s an entry level position to a client facing track I wish they had more of an open mind about this.

Question 1
Without direct credit experience it was impossible to be considered for the role.
I applied online. I interviewed at Bank of America
Interview
I had experience with great recruiter and hiring manager interviews and some of the absolute worst with BOA. It's about timing sometimes when it comes to these things. If you had a bad experience, but set in working at BOA, try again later in a different position or location.

Question 1
Every managers interview differently. Some ask traditional/standard interview questions. (Google it and it's all there). Some just shoot the breeze with you. Like having a conversation. Be prepared to answer any questions. At the same time, be flexible on how the interview may go.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Bank of America (San Jose, CA) in Dec 2022
Interview
The interview process was straightforward. There was a screening call followed by two separate interviews with the Market Managers (initially supposed to be one interview with both but scheduling challenges on their end called for two). General background and behavior questions with friendly managers. They recommended staying local for this position instead of moving to another state just for this job.
