The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bank of America
Interview
Unfortunately, my recent experience interviewing for a bank teller position at Bank of America was not as positive as I had hoped.
The process started with an online application, which was simple enough. However, communication afterward was very inconsistent. It took weeks to hear back, and when I finally received an email, I was scheduled for a phone screening with very little notice.
The phone screening felt rushed and impersonal. The recruiter seemed distracted and didn’t provide much information about the role or the next steps. I was left feeling like my time wasn’t valued.
I eventually moved on to the video interview stage, which was prerecorded. This part was particularly frustrating because the system had technical issues that caused delays. It felt very impersonal since I was just speaking to a screen with no opportunity for real interaction or feedback.
The final stage was an in-person interview at the branch. Unfortunately, this didn’t improve my impression. The branch manager appeared unprepared, and the interview itself felt unorganized. At times, it seemed like they were skimming through my resume for the first time, which made me question how seriously they were taking the process.

Interview
Pretty straightforward for behavioural. Technical case study interview that you had to figure out on the spot, a lot of facts and figures to sort through in very little time. Interviewers were all quite nice and supportive.
Three Interviews.
First Interview: Was with MD. We mainly talked about content on my CV.
Second Interview: Behavioral questions.
1. How would you deal with a situation where another MD disagrees with you
2. Tell me about a time you had to deal with a tight deadline
Third Interview: Some Banking questions

2. Tell me how what margin is
3. Is longer or shorter repos better for liquidity
4. What is a synthetic repo
