I’ve interviewed with Bank of America twice for different roles, and both experiences were honestly pretty frustrating. The first was a massive 3.5-hour panel with eight people where I coded a chatbot live and walked through everything from MongoDB and FastAPI to RAG pipelines and system design. It was an intense time commitment, so being completely ghosted afterward with zero feedback felt really disrespectful. My second experience was even worse; the two leads I spoke with were incredibly arrogant and kept interrupting me while I tried to explain my projects. One interviewer, a South Asian guy, seemed more interested in making me feel nervous (interrupted atleast 20 times even in tell me about yourself) and putting me on the spot than actually having a professional conversation. Between the ghosting and the rude attitude, the whole process felt like a waste of time.
