I applied online. I interviewed at Bank of America (New York, NY) in May 2024
Interview
Basically asked if i wanted to do equity research, i said yes.
Case study was to pitch a stock, fairly typically, 3 statement model, 3 page write up.
Was pushed to send in the case study in a few days even though i was told everyone else had a week, then ghosted after submitting it.
Followed up and was finally told some people resigned/quit. To my knowledge the position wasnt filled, it sounds like maybe the person or people required to sign off on the new hire are not at the bank so they have an open seat, but cant fill it
Brought it to another bank who liked what i did.
Would have been nice to get some feedback on the pitch, which i asked for several times…
It was very selective. Didnt seem that hard but ended up being very selective with who they took for super days. Only took 18 kids for super day 9 offer
