Bechtle interview questions

There is a two stage interview process. The first being an online teams interview with two senior account mangers that you would be working with. The second stage is an in person interview where you have to do a presentation and answer more questions. In the first stage I found that they were more keen to get to know you and get a general impression of who you are why you have applied for this job. The questions were more simple and they focused on explaining whet the role is and what the company has to offer. It lasted for about an hour and by the end I could tell I did well which was reassuring. The second stage required a lot more prep. You have to make a presentation in which you talk about yourself and then you talk about Bechtle using 4 core strengths they provide you. They do give you the skeleton of the presentation and they expect you to expand on it and show you have done your research. Then they ask you a bunch of difficult questions that aim to really understand why you are applying for this role. You need to be confident and have proof of everything you say you can do. This also lasted about an hour. Apparently I was their second option but they picked someone who had more IT sales experience over me, Which does make business sense but the job description doesn't require previous sales experience so I was disappointed. It does seem like a fantastic place to work even if the work is difficult and you will have to grind. Ultimately I will defiantly apply again and I do recommend Bechtle in general but specifically the Chippenham office.
