I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Best Buy in Aug 2009
Interview
Interview was pretty easy, they asked me standard questions. I didn't like the personality test, though, I failed it the first time I took it just because I put one "Agree" instead of a "Strongly Agree".... FYI you're only supposed to put "Strongly Disagree" and "Strongly Agree" on those darned Unicru tests. They were nice enough to let me retake it but I don't understand what the point of the test is when it's so easy to fake your answers.

They asked me about my previous employment experience.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Best Buy (Boston, MA) in Aug 2008
Interview
The interview is pretty straight forward, they ask the basic questions, why do you want to work here, why should we hire you, tell me about your last job, tell me about your supervisors, what goals do you have in mind, etc. I answered truthfully and straightforward, I wanted to work at Best Buy because it's a great environment, they're very customer oriented and passionate about customer service. I told them about the duties of my last job and how my experience there applied to here and it was very fun interview process. He never got back to me though and he went on a honeymoon so I assumed they weren't interested in me...
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Best Buy in May 2009
Interview
I applied online at the best buy website and then followed up with the store manager to which I had applied. Then they called me back in about 2 days and I was called in for an interview. with basic questions like "How do you feel about customer service?" "Try to sell me this pen" and etc. Basically it was a pretty easy interview.
