Best Buy Geek Squad Advanced Repair Agent interview questions

The interview process was quick and after an interview with the Geek Squad manager and the Best Buy GM I was offered the job. Everything was going smoothly until I mentioned wanting to get paid a certain amount which the GM initially agreed to. Later though, the Geek Squad manager had a problem with the pay amount because it was more than other employees who were in the GS for years were getting paid. So for a few days, I wasn't contacted about further steps so I went into the store. I spoke with the GS manager and they said that they would give me a call either that day or the next about if they could pay me the amount or not. I was okay with getting paid less, but didn't get the chance to say that because when I tried to contact the GM a few days later after never receiving a phone call, they said they has already gone with someone else. I was completely taken aback that they went with someone else without telling me anything after they had informally hired me, but there was nothing I could do.

Interview was shadowed by what I am assuming was a regional manager. They sat directly behind me with me facing the person conducting the interview. This completely threw me off the whole interview.
