Interview
Hiring and interviews are a standard process. You will get a phone interview, if they like you, then you will have a an interview with one of the assistant managers. Finally if you pass the interview with the assistant managers then you will finally sit down with the general manager who will go over pay and expectations at that time. If you make it to the GM you are pretty much in. Don't be too agressive trying to get a position the managers don't have time for people who call every day wondering what the status is of their application, it's a real turn off. Also after the GM interview don't expect to start working right away, usually there is a 2 week waiting time and they do a induction class with a couple of people they hire getting you used to Best Buy then they will put you through more training and many hours of computer training too.

Interview
Applied online after 3 days got a call for a phone interview after that got schedule for interview with manager then got schedule interview with general manager pretty much he/she is the one that is going to hire you. Interview question was basic they ask why you want to work at bestbuy stuff like that nothing too hard they are just looking for someone that can fit in and has customer service skills. Technical questions in the interview are basic stuff like whats a virus or what is memory (ie, rams) when explaining use it in non technical way. Remember not all customer will know what you are talking about, so stick with the basic words and terms. One more thing, you got to have a flexible schedule since I was a part time student taking classes at night my schedule was super flexible

Got Call from one of the managers and in the interview GM and a manager asked those typical questions! It was not that formal...Interview started half an hour late
