The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Best Buy (Fairfax, VA) in Feb 2012
Interview
I was called in for an interview to be a regular cashier at best buy. I arrived 15 minutes early but my manager interviewed me 40 minutes late. He said he was late because his previous interviews lasted longer than expected. I went into his office and the interview lasted about 30 minutes. I did not get the job because I got really nervous so he was able to tell. I said "um" too much and gave dumb answers to the questions. Some were basic questions but the other questions were really hard. He said he would make his decision the next week and he would call me but he never did. So if you're shy and nervous like me, make sure you have practiced and you are prepared for your interview at best buy.

Question 1
Give a bad experience you've had when working with a team
The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Best Buy (Pittsburgh, PA) in Feb 2012
Interview
The first part of the interview that Best Buy considers is the skills test when you first apply online. If your credentials meet the requirements, then you are contacted by the store and scheduled for a 1:1 interview with a supervisor. If the supervisor passes you on the interview, you are then contacted and scheduled for an interview with the general manager. The general manager interview is only 2-3 simple questions. If approved by the general manager, you must take a drug test. After the store receives the results in 2-3 days, you will be contacted in regards to when you will begin training.

Question 1
Describe a time where you and another employee didn't get along?
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Best Buy (Richfield, MN) in Dec 2011
Interview
Initial interview started late, had little focus. Staff participants worried aloud about their own jobs. Position goals & objective were far-flung, lacking organization. 2nd panel interview was staff fretting over their potential job loss, not the interview. Hiring Director was passive, not engaged lacked nominal control in the interviews' direction.
