The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Best Buy in Sep 2011
Interview
I got 2 phone calls prior to my interview just scheduling my interview, i was reffered by an employee(this is the easiest way to get your application noticed). When i went in they called it my second interview. They asked me basic questions, such as- Explain a time when you went that extra mile and why?, Name a time when you were not the leader but rose to being a leader instead. They also gave me the shrink question about if u catch an employee stealing-what would you do, i said 'report it to a manager" then my interviewer asked what would you say and why. i answered "i would tell him i saw this employee doing suspicious activity" and then the next part i said blew my interview- I added that he should get a second chance if it were a minor item. I later found out that was the exact reason i didnt receive the job. They also asked me what super power i'd want if i could have any one. It was a pretty easy interview but lasted me about 30 minutes or so.

The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Best Buy (Saratoga Springs, NY) in Sep 2011
Interview
I did an online interview/application, then got called for an interview with a hiring manager, which was just a basic interview with basic interview type questions. They told me to wait for a call within the next week, and a few days later they called and I scheduled an interview with the GM. I am just about to go to that interview so I will let you know how it turns out.
The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Best Buy in Jun 2011
Interview
My interviews took place in the manager's "leadership development room". The first interview was by the Customer Service Manager where I was asked simple questions like "why are you choosing Best Buy for employment?" and "What are some of your weaknesses that you have improved upon in the past three years?", etc. All the questions that I was asked were structured within a pamphlet and the manager was required to write down my responds. My Second Interview was performed by the General Manager and was done after the drug test. This was more an informational and signature session then Q&A session and at the end, I was offered an hourly wage as a PCHO salesmen.
