Interview
I originally applied online in July. I reapplied in August after I mastered how to pass the personality test. Luckly my reappliying/updating my account paid off because I got a call for an interview out of the blue in September. The day before the interview I got a call from one of the managers and I was told to wait seven days because somethin' came up with the manager so all interviews were postponed. At the interview I met with a lady and the first question she asked me was, "So what makes you a super star today?". After not laughing in her face, I answered the question the best to my ability. I was asked the basic interview questions with her. She liked me so she passed me along with the assistant manager and he asked me the basic questions as well. I charmed the pants off him because then I was passed along to the GM for the final interview for the following week. I just got home from that final interview and I was told to give a Drug Test. And I should be starting next week for a two week training course. Good Luck, Everyone else! :)

Interview
The interview process was simple and to the point. First the online assessment takes a while, but is extremely important. They want to make sure you would be a good match for the company.
They called and did an informal phone interview, more or less asking about availability. I was then set up with an interview with the department manager.
The interview with the department manager with fairly standard, mostly asking questions about previous employers, and why I want to work for them. They are very big on team work, and customer service. She immediately told me that she would love to have me on their team, but as a formality I will have to have an interview with the GM first.
I had the interview with the GM a couple of days later. He was extremely friendly, and went through the basic asset protection questions to make sure I wasn't going to steal anything. We then moved into a pretty open conversation about his past with the company, and my work experience. He then offered me a position, gave me the paperwork for a drug test, and said someone would contact me in a week to set up orientation.

Interview
I applied online, as this brand new Best Buy was just being built. I got a call about 2 weeks later asking if I wanted to come in for an interview on whatever day I was available. I went in, greeted the interviewer and introduced myself. She asked me general questions about my availability. The other questions were work related or experience based... I answered them, but NOT to the best of my ability. I was extremely nervous because this was my first interview ever. I knew it didn't go well, so I followed up afterward with a Thank You letter to the interviewer. I also called them back within 4 or 5 days because I didnt get a call when they said I would. I asked if the position was filled and when is the next time I should expect a call from them. They told me I should expect a call by next Sunday... I never got the call.
I have no advice for anyone because I am inexperienced in this area!
