I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Best Buy
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter and we spoke very briefly about what I was interested in doing, and what areas of the store i wanted to work in. i gave my top 3 areas and then was asked to come to a group style interview the next day at the store. at the group interview we went through about an hour of sales type role play such as selling a product i picked from a magazine, selling a certain product i picked from the store floor. etc.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
picking a random product from the store and sell it to us.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Best Buy (Lethbridge, AB) in Jul 2012
Interview
Contacted by phone, after an in-person resume hand in. Was asked various questions and qualifications.
Given a few weeks for the group interview process.
Interview just asking basic questions, tour of building, didn't seem much care for employees.
Split up into a 3 step process. First there usually is a over the phone interview. After that there are two face to face interviews with one manager and one supervisor. The application part is done online at their website and they ask you to specify which location to apply at, my advice, when they ask whether you want to get calls about different locations, say yes because you might not get hired where you want but you still have chances elsewhere.
