I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Best Buy (Murfreesboro, TN) in Jun 2015
Interview
Direct, and to the point. The questions were from a packet. Good content, and good scenarios. The management is very quick yet very thorough with their interview process. In a higher end interview like this, not much slips through the cracks.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Recall a time where you had to deal with an upset customer. How did you handle the issue, and what was the result?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Best Buy (Austin, TX) in Sep 2015
Interview
Spoke with the GM. Did some getting to know one another. Then started getting in to questions pertaining to the interview process. There were 20 other applicants for the position. And they had to narrow it down to 5. Seeing as I didn't receive a phone call or an email, I am guessing I was not top 5.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Best Buy (Hamilton, ON) in Aug 2014
Interview
After having two different interviews in two different stores I realized some managers have a lot of HR experience and some others dont. In one, everything was kept professional. In the other, I was asked if I was married and how old I was. Anyone that has a little bit of HR knowledge knows this is terrible.
