I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Singapur) in Sep 2021
Interview
Recorded video interview first, then an assessment day (I didn't pass this one) with:
1. Group activity: small groups first to solve a problem that may require some critical thinkimg. Then in a big group setting (12 ppl) It's pretty important to get a word in.
It's natural for people to try and dominate the speaking time here, not sure how that's viewed though. But try and get a word in!
Process re-engineering: suggest process improvements for existing processes in Bloomberg (may not be about the terminal or user experience, it's a big company).
3. Team leader interview: pretty standard, make them like you. If you passed other interviews before this should be the segment you're most familiar with.
If you pass the assessment day you'll get an interview with a director the next week - assessment day is the most important.
It's one of those processes where everything has to go right and you have to impress everyone. HR told me could actually not take anyone if nobody impresses them!
Advice: prepare answers beforehand but be quick on your feet on the day. Some things are out of your control so there is some luck involved.
The assessment day is at least 4 hours long so it's a marathon in impression management, try not to slip up.
Good luck to anyone applying!

Question 1
Team leader interview questions are pretty standard:
What's a stock you think is a buy?
What's a piece of constructive criticism you've received?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (New York, NY) in Aug 2021
Interview
Recruiter was quick to contact me for a screening, followed by 2 interviews. All interviewers seemed uninterested in their jobs. I got ghosted after the 2nd interview even though they told me there'd be more rounds. Anyone I spoke to who has worked at BB says the environment sucks. There are better companies out there... not worth it. You can tell a lot about a team and company from the interviews!
I applied online. I interviewed at Bloomberg (London, England) in Jan 2021
Interview
The process constitutes online tests, followed by a video interview and an assessment day. After the assessment day, there are still about 5-6 further stages. Very lengthy, not transparent process
