Booking.com Data Engineer interview questions

Started in 3 months ago, then 3 rounds (recruiter, culture, coding) all positive feedback. But then the ghosting started for around 1.5 month. Did not expect anything anymore, and then they came back with excuses on vacations and a broken HR system. Then We did another technical interview after two weeks for which the feedback was again positive. And again two weeks nothing scheduled. Then I contacted them and was told they were "checking things internally". A week later they came back stating that the role was retracted due to budget cuts. Worsed interview experience to date.

The first step was HR interview - role discussion, my background, salary expectations etc. Second step is 2 algorithmic problems, live coding session Third one is system design , then final conversation with HR
