I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Booking.com
Interview
The two engineers who carried out the interview were essentially steering the candidate towards their "model" solutions all the way without giving the candidate's ideas any thoughts.
It was a hit or miss - hit only if the interviewers agreed. Not quite the way a company should be.
Do not recommend, unless this is the only job offer that you get.

Question 1
Q. Given a business case as such, how would you handle this with Machine Learning?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Booking.com in Aug 2016
Interview
Very professional but quite an extensive process. Very lengthy business cases. I had a call with the hr, followed by an hour long phone interview with business cases, then a personal round with 4 business cases and finally a call with senior management. Was not so happy with final feedback since they basically brushed me off as not being technically good enough after having cleared almost all the rounds
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Booking.com in Aug 2016
Interview
I applied on the company website. First step was an online test (entry-level data science/machine learning questions) after which I was contacted by HR for a phone interview. Quite typical experience, why you want to work in booking.com, salary expectations, brief presentation of the position and a few clarifications about my past experience/projects.
