It was an interesting process. Had to wait to be called my turn. When I went for the interview, it started. That is why it is the way to go for the mesh.
Technical interviews: Interviewers were super nice, but they expected a high level of classical ML. Unfortunately my experience is more in deep learning, while they expected answers like RBM. Overall good experience
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Booking.com in May 2022
Interview
First I had call with 2 Engineering Managers, general questions regarding management. 2nd phase was system design interview. Then code review interview was scheduled. During this interview, it was figured out that I was provided with incorrect code review link. Guy said that they will re-schedule interview and send proper link. Then booking.com told me that I failed system design interview. That's nonsense because 2 weeks before that they said that I succeeded and scheduled 3rd phase. Summary: 3 phases took almost 2 (!!!!) months. The whole hiring process is a total mess, during 2 months I talked with around 10 people and there is no guarantee that I would work with any of them if I got hired. I am shocked with such low level of processes in true IT company
