The first phone interview was with HR, very polite, informal, and nice.
then the technical interview with two admins, was horrible, following the advice of HR I investigate about the infrastructure and applications they use, and prepare for a very technical interview about that, instead I was asked basic things that you dont have fresh in your mind, like how HTTP protocol works, name the entire process and name the packets in order, the handshakes, etc etc.
Think in a script to do this, tell us line by line...
things like that, I felt very uncomfortable with this kind of interview.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Booking.com (Bellevue, WA) in Apr 2015
Interview
I was pretty nervous since this was my 1st time applying for desk job. My 1st impression was Booking.com is trying to be internet company streotype such as "Google". I had to take an English test and had interview with 4 different team leads. Even though it was my 1st time applying for the desk job they tried to make you comfortable as possible which made the process much easier.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Booking.com in Jan 2016
Interview
A Booking.com recruiter called and thought I was a perfect fit, then I got scheduled to talk to two PO's, then I would be scheduled to fly to Amsterdam for final interview.
