Question 1
What if you were in Amsterdam in the elevator with our CEO, what would you tell him to get hired?
They showed a chart of nights/occupancy and average rates with very little informations and expected me to understand by my own what kind of property I was looking at and where was it located
They made me roleplaying asking me to pretend to be the account executive calling a hotel chain and trying to convince them into buying a specific tool. They of course tried to block me in every possible way
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Booking.com (Amsterdam) in Sep 2023
Interview
The recruiter was really amazing. He took care of the experience. I met the hiring manager and it went smoothly as well. The next two rounds were scheduled - one was for product strategy and customer success, The second is stakeholder management and execution. The first of the two was great where the interviewers asked specific questions. the second one the interviewers were very vague and I was not sure what they were expecting. It felt like a waste of time since they were pretty much-expecting answers of how they work.
