I applied online. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group (Kuala Lumpur) in May 2025
Interview
I was prepared but froze when the interviewer asked me about personal question. Plus, the fact that the interviewer face looked like he/she didn't want to be there (very cold facial expressions with little to no interest) made me feel nervous and didn't enjoy my IV process as much. For the case study, I wasn't as prepared as much so I was having a great difficult time when answering. I guess if any candidate really channel thier time and effort to practice at given resources, they will surely excel the case study part.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
- Why do you want to join consulting?
- Tell them the time when I did something out of my way to solve a problem/situation.
It was smooth, and had over a month to prepare. I got free access to Case Coach and I was assigned a BCG Consultant to coach me as I prepared for the interview. I had 2 sessions for my first-round interview, consisting of 2 fit and case interviews each.

Interview
Applications are always open on their website. If your profile is pciked you are invited to a casey bot interview that tests your casing skills. One is enrolled to an online platform where you can engage with other intervuew. You practice with for atleast 3 months. You get to have a casing workshop with peers a few weeks to the first round of interviews. The interviews entail casing which I found to be quite rushed followed by fit questions. Each round has two parts that caN either be on the same day or on different days. Practise but don't over think it. Try as much as possible to case with actual consultants.
