I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Brenntag
Interview
1st phone screen
2nd group interview-where you're the only candidate and several supervisors interview you at once
3rd trial day - you shadow several reps on their day to day tasks where everyone judges you on if you'll be a right fit for the company or not.
I was offered the position but I was unable to start immediately. They told me in person (not writing) that they'd wait and the job was mine when I was ready. I emailed them to confirm a while later and was told the position had been filled.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Brenntag (Leeds, England)
Interview
1st Interview - very positive experience lasting nearly 2 hrs on 1:1 basis at Leeds HQ.
2nd Interview - asked to prep. PPt presentation for 1 wk after 1st interview. Spent a lot of time prepping for it. Received call from Recruitment Agency day before the interview telling me that job had been filled! No feedback via Recruiter or from Brenntag.
Felt very p*ssed off about the whole affair, having driven over 8 hrs there/back for the interview. No expenses offered (seems to be the norm these days - why?)
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Brenntag (Pittsburgh, PA)
Interview
After scheduling an interview on short notice, (I.e. same day), I was left waiting in the lobby for nearly 30 minutes (1st red flag). The interviewer had me do a "mock" cycle count with him, which I'm guessing was more of a receiver count as material had clearly arrived that day (count have been an on-hand count) (2nd flag). Towards the end of the interview, where the discussion turned towards benefits, the interviewer actually made the comment "that's a big nut" in regards to my current salary. (Flag 3, and glad no offer was extended). Company seemed like they were growing, but I'm not sure that I'd want to work in an environment where you're expected to be oncall 24/7 making an entry level salary.

Question 1
Would you be comfortable adopting new technology and training on that technology while expanding warehousing capabilities and incorporating use of local logistics modes?
