Poorly organised and frustrating. I was contacted by an external agency recruiter hiring for the role. My first call with them lasted about 40mins, during which they described the role, benefits, etc. etc. The signal kept breaking so it was quite difficult to sit through.
A week later I heard that I hadn't passed the CV selection (right before Christmas). First-week of Jan I was contacted again by the recruiter saying there was a misunderstanding and that I'd been shortlisted for a 1st stage interview.
When booking the interview, I had a choice of times on either the same day or the next. When I asked for an alternative, the only time they could offer was 8.30 am the day after next, again not a very reasonable time. The reason for this was extremely busy schedules. I work full-time too and also have a packed workload/diary. Agree with some other reviews that say they don't value applicants' time.
After the interview, I heard back after a week. The recruiter kept contacting me on my personal number despite me communicating a couple of times about my preference/best availability on my work phone. Feedback was that my examples were not strong enough - implying high expectations of performance in the context of short notice and lack of flexibility on their side.
