I applied online. I interviewed at British Airways (Heathrow, England) in Jun 2017
Interview
Assessment day
- arrive in the AM, get there early & chat to other interviewees, they’re always watching & want to see how you interact.
- They measure your height & ask you to reach something in a mock overhead locker, check for tattoos, piercings etc. They’ll send you home if you don’t pass so be certain you’ll pass before you turn up.
- Group activity; split 8to a group of 4-5 people, be confident but don’t speak over anyone, listen to others opinions & ask a quiet person what they think... inclusivity etc.
- Role play; they will pretend to be an unimpressed passenger & you have to resolve the issue. Get down to eye level, listen, apologise & offer champagne.
- You’ll be split into 2 groups, 1 is going home & the other is staying for the face to face interview.
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at British Airways (London, England) in Feb 2020
Interview
You start by submitting your CV after which you are then invited to do an online test.
This test is a series of possible case scenarios where you have to select bow you will act in each situation.
If you pass you are then invited to the assessment day. This process can take a few months - I had to wait 2 months.
At the assessment day your height is tested, as well whether you have any tattoos. You will be split into small groups where you will have a group discussion - don't outshine anyone - they are interested in team work.
After this group discussion there is a role play situation where you have to deal with a costumer complaint and also read a script . Be mindful of what you are reading as you will need it for the role play.
If you pass all this you are then invited to the 1-1 interview where they will want to know examples of past situations that are focused on team work and costumer service.

Interview
Quite good had to do a video interview and then assessment day where I had to do an interview and a presentation. The video interview was quite easy as you had unlimited attempts at answering each question.
