First, you have to pass an online personality and numeracy test, after that you get to choose a slot when you can go to the interview. It was quick, after I submitted the test, got an e-mail the following day, and I went to the interview on the following week.
The interview was being hold near Heathrow at BA headquarters. They checked our passports and we had to sing a form.
First stage is the reaching test, everybody passed.
After that we had a little presentation about the company, salary etc, then we had the group exercise and the role play.
About the group exercise: I have the usual advise, be active, but don't be too pushy, don't try to rule the conversation (a girl in my group did exactly that, and she wasn't selected, as I expected). Respect other's opinion, share your ideas, ask other people what do they think etc. Show that you are good at team work.
After that straight to role play, first I had to read an announcement, after that had to deal with an upset guest of a hotel. Bit difficult as I had to memorise lot of things in a few minutes, which was impossible, so I sounded quite unconfident.
After the group exercise and the role play they divided us into 2 groups, one group passed, the other had to go home. I didn't pass, but to be honest I don't mind. I didn't like the environment, I didn't like the people, all so fake and snob, and even though we have been told that this is not a competition as they have lot of places for all of us, most of the people took it as a competition as pushed everybody else just to feel they are the best. Thanks but I don't want to have colleagues like that!
Also a bit racist, as all the chosen ones were native British, didn't pick any of the foreigners, so I had a feeling that I had no chance to get in.
