I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Broadcom (Hyderabad) in Jun 2013
Interview
1 Telephonic and 5 rounds of 1:1 interview on the same day (Sunday). All are technical rounds. I couldn't negotiate much with the HR regarding the salary and perks. Overall the interview process was very good.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Broadcom (Irvine, CA) in Jan 2012
Interview
Crazy impressive and very easy going. I had the flu at the time and they performed an over-the-phone interview initially. I was hired on as a contractor for 6 months, then hired on full time afterwards.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Broadcom (Vancouver, BC) in Apr 2012
Interview
Not that difficult. It's a panel interview, during which we mostly chatted about my past experience. People then asked technical questions here and there to see how hands on I was and whether I really had the experience I described in my resume. There were some whiteboard drawing to explain the stuff I was doing.
