They're not sure of what they want. After they meet you, they'll find reasons as to why you might/might not be a fit for the team. Myself and couple other's I know from the SaaS industry got interviewed by Canva. They put out generic job descriptions which can be pretty easy to nail if you know your stuff. But they're pretty cookie cutter. If you don't give them what they want to hear in the exact same words (metaphorically) you're out. And they'll pull any excuse under the sun to justify it because 99% chances are, you would've addressed it in a different way during your interview. Don't waste your time. So many other great SaaS places who have mature teams and thinking are totally worth your experience and time, and pay better! PS: Your interviews will be recorded, they don't inform you how/when will the recording be destroyed after the interview.
