I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Canva (Sydney) in May 2023
Interview
I applied online and was informed at each step of the process by email. I had two interviews both conducted by video and both were very positive experiences. The interviewers were open and provided feedback afterwards which was positive as well.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked to provide information about my previous roles and how the experience I have would enable me in the advertised role.
Got contacted by the Canva team, completed a challenge before seeing anyone and got selected. Did a few rounds of interview and even had lunch with the team before never hearing from them again. Got contacted again 2 months later saying they changed their strategy...waste of time
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Canva
Interview
I applied directly via the Canva website in April 2023. I immediately received an automated reply that assured me they review and respond to every application. More than 2 months later, I have heard absolutely nothing more from them. Issues: - The automated email is from a no-reply address and offers no way to get in touch or check the status. - The email says it may take "a few weeks" to get back to you. That's a pretty poor response time anyway, but it also means that you don't know how long to wait before deciding that they're not actually getting back to you. After 1 month, I assumed I wasn't going to hear from them, but it was also too late to bother following up. - Committing to responding to every applicant and then failing to do so just makes it worse. You started the process with promises you can't keep.
