The hiring process at Cisco takes an average of 46 days when considering 2 user submitted interviews across all job titles. Candidates applying for CSM had the quickest hiring process (on average 1 day), whereas Intern Field Sales roles had the slowest hiring process (on average 90 days).
Well, where do I start? It was so impersonal. I applied online and then received and email to do a test via HackerRank. 135 minutes no less.
I took the test, pretty certain I got 6/8 questions correct but I did not get any results.
On the React portion. You have to finish off the application. It was in TypeScript, don’t get me wrong. It was fun, I found it not hard, though the time cut off when I had two functions left to right, to set up a favorites state to add and remove.
I don’t know if it was scored at all but also, it’s not like the recruiter who receives it knows what is going on.
Terrible and lazy way to screen people out.

There were 2 technical interviews rounds and 1 HR interview round.
Almost all the questions asked were from my CV only, and some basic dsa questions where also asked. Interviews were like discussion only they helped me where I fumbled and guided me in the right direction.
