I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Citi (New York, NY) in Jun 2022
Interview
First round is pretty simple and straightforward like alot of other shops. second round get a Lot of technical questions that you can find online. They focus on personality as well to make sure you're a good fit for the team. If you do enough prep you should be okay. do not act nervous, be confident in your answers. thid round is in person and you gotta kill it
The day after I submitted my application I got notice of an interview. I had three interviews, two back to back and the final one in about three weeks after. The whole process took a couple of months.
A horrible experience and questions that had nothing to do with the JD. I was very confused on the questions because they literally had nothing to do with the role. I was asked Senior/VP questions for a basic analyst role. The interviewers ended the zoom call within 15 min of the interview. I had to question them to make sure this role and the questions that were being asked were relatable. Plus it was a huge language barrier, audio issue and I didn’t want to be rude but it was a lot of repeating of the questions.
