I applied online. I interviewed at Citi (New York, NY) in Jan 2015
Interview
Applied online, interviewed with HR and then PMs and traders. Overall had a phone interview and then 7 interviews on site at the office. The process was very process driven. Fit seemed to be the most important factor for the team.

Question 1
Talk about a time you failed. What did you learn from it.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Citi (Toronto, ON)
Interview
There were 2 panel/group interviews, then there was a follow up call with a VP a week later. The interviews seemed like 50:50 technical/personality. Few days after the second interview they contacted me to offer the job. You can expect them to reach out a few more times to ask you to rank your desk preferences and to fill some background documents. I am still waiting to receive the background documents to fill.
Overall I had a great experience, and am looking forward spend my summer with them.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Citi (New York, NY)
Interview
Involved 2 rounds. More conversational than anything else. Interviewers ended up answering a lot of questions about the group and work. A few simple questions on applicant's background and interest. No tough or abstract questions. Interviewers all very friendly.
