Citi Senior Data Engineer interview questions

2 rounds First round was about spark and some fundamental questions. Overall good. Second round was no where near what was in JD. Questions were really some corner cases there are applicable to individual project. The interviewer was interviewing for some other role not mentioned in JD.

1. Quick discussion with HR on the role 2. Candidate will have to provide salary expectation 3. They explained that no relocation assistance provided for non locals which basically means no relocations assistance to H1B/ foreign workers and moreover they expect to candidate to start working from office when they join during the pandemic. This wasn't really expected 2. Technical Interview with Director 3. Technical Interview with two Senior Managers (VP)
