I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Co-op (Maidstone, England) in Feb 2021
Interview
Straightforward 5 scenario questions based on work/life history. Store manager seemed happy and said they'd be in touch in a few days. A week later, no response so emailed HR and the usual re-buff I've seen other posters say - "we've sent him an email to chase a decision for you". Another week went by and still no decision, contrary to the Co-ops promise on their website that every candidate will have a recruitment decision given to them. Logged on to their recruitment site and withdrew my application. Disheartening and pretty disrespectful for the Co-op to behave this way towards unsuccessful applicants but then again it's important to recognise that as long as store managers meet their KPI's, they can pretty much run the show according to whim.

Question 1
Give me an example of dealing with a poorly performing member of staff.
It s face to face with some standard questions about your personality. Very friendly atmosphere in general. I do not know though if it is possible a video interview in case you want to rellocate.

Interview
The interview was ok but was quite difficult for the job. They ask you behavioural questions on to inquire how to have dealt with certain issues/task in your previous job.
