I applied online. I interviewed at Co-op (Preston, North West England, England) in Aug 2023
Interview
Initial application online involved questions specific to the role and required some time and thought but this was a positive and reassuring aspect. A telephone call was then scheduled in order to confirm the logistical details of the role ie: hours, responsibilities, location etc. Once it was confirmed I understood and confirmed my availability, an in-person interview was scheduled. The interview itself was professional, friendly and so very welcoming. I was put very quickly at ease by the two people who were interviewing and note-taking. I was assured that I would not be left waiting and a decision would be made promtly. I was offered the position the next day and couldn't be happier. *I will note in the next question on this form, that the process was 'difficult' - but I do not mean this negatively - for a position where being prepared, professional and equipped is vital (funerals), I wouldn't have wanted to be employed unless I had been tested and challenged.
