I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Co-op (London, England) in Jan 2019
Interview
Awful , The manager was constantly checking his watch and clearly disinterested in me , knew i never had the job there and then , asking me can i work day shift hours when i applied for night and not knowing anything about the hours that were on the application, if you dont know what you are recruiting for then duh , Not to mention being asked if i was okay to work with men, from the tone of voice it was clear they werent looking for a women for night shift. This company is awful I wouldnt bother going for a interview and they then tell you a week later through email that you cant apply again for six months judged on one interview so if you are looking for other areas in the company dont bother , pathetic
The interview was comfortable and friendly. Occasional questions felt a bit repetitive. Was a new process compared to older interviews so they required less knowledge about the company as they told me about it instead.

Interview
I applied online. I was then sent a questionnaire of is the Co op right for you. It asks multiple choice questions and it compares your values to theirs. You then get feedback on that. If you are suited to the company, they send you another questionnaire/assessment to see if the job would suit you. Again. It's multiple choice but you arrange it in order of importance. Its important you take your time on this, and answer truthfully. Again, you get feedback on it. If you have passed this section, you will get an email saying whether you are progressing with the application or not. If you are, they ask you to call a person, and you have a telephone interview. This takes about 7-10 minutes. You find out at the end of the call if you are successful or not. If not successful they wish you all the best. If you are successful you then get offered a date for a face to interview, usually with 2 people at the funeral home you are applying for. You get sent an email confirming interview arrangements and you have to reply to confirm you are attending.
