I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Co-op (London, England) in Oct 2015
Interview
The process took 3 months, from application to interview. Before the interview, I was asked to read 3 particular reports from the Bank of England as preparation (these were e-mailed to me). I was interviewed by Senior Manager and Junior Manager, who asked basic competency, motivation and technical questions (based on the reports). I was also required to produce a 3-page briefing in 60 minutes on the issues presented in the reports. I never heard back, despite being told they would get back to me in 2 weeks and e-mailing HR 3 weeks later.

Interview
Very relaxed 1 to 1 interview, predominantly based around getting to know me as a person as opposed to my work practice. It was conducted by the manager and one the store supervisors. I got the opportunity through applying online
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Co-op (Ayr, Schottland) in Apr 2015
Interview
I was invited into the Co-Operative store and asked questions by a manager. I sat down in the small waiting room and waited to be greeted by the store manager. I then met with them and was talked through a few friendly ice breakers and introduced to the store and told a little bit more about that. I was then asked a few questions and asked to fill in a short questionnaire. After that I was left to answer some more questions on paper before the manager took my answers away and deliberated with another manager. I was offered the job that afternoon.
