Co-op Team Leader interview questions

Online application with assessment questions followed by in person interview with the store manager at the branch. In person interview was about 20 minutes in a small office. Questions asked were all read from a sheet and were about times you demonstrated a certain quality or trait.

I throughly prepared for Interview by looking at the guide provided. Travelled for 2 hours to reach at Interview site. Interviewer asked me questions like my name, how are you, worked before as a sales assistant. Then I was expecting questions that revolves around team work, behavioural etc. But he asked no single question. I was utterly shocked and in the end I asked the Interviewer why you didn't ask me any question. He said I just wanted to see you as a person and know your availability. It actually feel so disrespectful and I don't know why he did this.
