It was fairly smooth process. I think as fresher they look for person with good communication skills, willing to learn new things and adapt to new environment. I went through campus placement also I know people who went for offline placements. I heard the same. Have good vocabulary, good elevator pitch. I had an internship with cognizant at the end I had an interview with a manager, then they put me in a project and gave me full time offer. The interview after internship was technical ( syllabus from the internship). Before the internship, I had 2 rounds. 1) online test - the classic one 2) Hr- This is where you have to show you are willing to learn and adapt .
