I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Collins Aerospace in Sep 2020
Interview
Spoke with an engineer at a college career fair, who connected me to a virtual interview the next day. I spent the night preparing and entered an interview over Zoom the next day. I was put in a breakout room for about 30 mins with the lead manufacturing engineer at the location I was being interviewed for.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Why did you choose to study mechanical engineering?
Almost entirely behavioral, with simple questions such as "Tell me about yourself" and "How would you improve a manufacturing process". Try not to ramble on too much but have thoughtful answers.

Question 1
If something went wrong in the manufacturing line how would you tackle it?
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Collins Aerospace
Interview
Started off with introductions, moved onto describe personal projects, then they described a little about what they do and what team they were a part of, and we finished with questions.
I applied online. I interviewed at Collins Aerospace (Cedar Rapids, IA) in Jan 2021
Interview
I received an invitation to do a one-way video interview through HireVu (the first step in the hiring process). The process itself wasn't too difficult (just some multiple-choice questions and 3 video response questions) but the interview felt kind of awkward because I wasn't talking to a real person and the responses have a time limit. There's also no way of asking any questions about the position.

Question 1
They asked for an introduction about yourself and how your skills fit the position.
