I applied a IT engineer job via linked-in. A recruiter of the company contacted me and asked and answered some questions (including expected salary) in an email. I answered them. A interview with hire manager was scheduled. Then the recruiter contacted me and said the interview went fine and they would hire me, but she said the salary would be lower than I expected. I accepted it since the remote job would be big benefit. Then the recruiter said "I am so excited!" with a special tone. I didn't expect it since I had not got official offer yet. I politely said "I am excited too". Then I have not heard anything from the company anymore. I sent message to the recruiter and wanted to know what was going on there. I hoped they can fallow up and at least made a story to me if they didn't want me anymore. Not just let me wait. No respond! Even a person does not treat a stranger in the street like that!
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Conduent (Lexington-Fayette, KY) in Oct 2022

Interview process went very smoothly. It was a virtual interview on camera. The recruiter asked me questions and then she had me turn my camera around to do a 360 degree view of my work area. Then she told me I would hear something in 24-48 hours and I was offered the position about 3 hours after the interview.
