Interview
I applied online (LinkedIn) for the Sales Manager Mid Market Benelux job position.
The interview phase started with a phone call done by a recruiter for the Benelux and Nordics market. During this phase you get questions like "why you think Criteo can be a good company for your career path?", "What value can you add to the company?", ...
The second phase is an analytical test online.
The third phase is a phone call done with a Sales Manager of your specific region. Questions like, "Why do you like sales", "How can you help Criteo grow faster", "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?". Also questions about CPC, CPA, CPM, ... They can ask to solve an exercice during the phone call.
The fourth phase is an interview (Face to Face) for a couple of Sales managers. In this presentation you need to explain Criteo as a company and explain why we are the best option for the client. You need to focus on the closing part!
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Criteo (Barcelona) in Oct 2016
Interview
First step is a 30 minute interview with a Recruiter (super nice and easy.. just to get to know each other a bit better), after that you have to complete a 8 question online test, followed by another phone interview with your direct manager. And the last step is a powerpoint presentation plus sales pitch - which for me was the most difficult. Very important: be prepared to enter into negotiations, learn a lot before about CPC/CPA models and do the sales pitch very interactively (ask them questions as well, try to understand their needs etc)

Question 1
Why should we invest in a higher Cost per Click.. what are the advantages?

Interview
Interview Process based on 4 big steps :
- A phone interview with the talent recruiter
- An online test
- A second phone interview/role play with a manager
- A final interview/role play more complex with 3 managers and a sales director
I felt a real growth of the difficulty during the process with the different steps, but I really felt supported by the talent recruiter which was totally available all along to inform me if I needed anything.
Also, I had interesting and constructive feedbacks from the managers during role plays. They really took the time to give me their opinion about my performance, so very appreciated.
So Interview process clear, with a good progression, well informed and with useful steps.
One regret, to didn't have much time for the final interview to discuss with all managers and ask more questions (so do not hesitate to ask yours when you have it) but anyway, the talent recruiter was available after for answers.
