I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at DataArt in Feb 2019
Interview
Communication was very pleasant, got a few calls incl. English teacher that evaluates your skills. The last interview took ~4 hours, conducted by hr and then team lead.
+ All people I was contacted by were super nice. They all left a good impression.
There was a small practice test.
They actually reached out to me and gave feedback despite there was no offer.
- IMHO there was a lot of testing theory which is basically covered by ISTQB exam. Probably if you have that certification
those theory questions could be skipped. Unfortunately I didn’t have the cert and IRL not all QA use all the testing techniques, for example, so it was kinda pointless to ask those in the first place. Isn’t is better to clarify what techniques ppl use on a daily basis and ask specifically about those? I mean if a person knows a lot of stuff they actually never use - isn’t it a weird way to use their memory capacity?:)
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at DataArt (Cherson) in Nov 2017
Interview
Interviewers asked about my skills and work experience. Also, they asked about my theory knowledge.
Interviewers and HRs were tolerant and polite. Shortly, Interview was great. It is a pleasure to work with this people now.
