I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Deel
Interview
Suspiciously short interview process where I wasn't asked many strategic questions (it was honestly just a bunch of chin wagging). I did a demo as the final round and the interviewers seemed to giggle at me really taking it seriously. I received an offer and was told I would be EASILY making $800k+ off of a quota of less than $10k/quarter. How does this even make sense? What company pays over 80x in commissions?? I am so glad I didnt move forward with this company. Something feels seriously off over there.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Deel (Hongkong) in Jul 2026
Interview
The company reached out to me on LinkedIn and booked me in for an interview. I told them in advance I wasn't considering any junior roles given my experience. The day of the interview the interviewer didn't show up and no explanation was received. The next day another recruiter reached out through LinkedIn letting me know that the role scope has changed. Super unprofessional and disrespectful.
